"Finished" and Post Mortem
Well, today is the end of July. The month has flown by and time is up on 1GAM. I'm not super happy with how Moving Simulator turned out. The mechanics I wanted are there, but it's not really much of a game. That player just dumps a bunch of objects into a truck for a high score, which ultimately doesn't do anything.
I initially planned to have multiple, unlockable levels the player could get to if their high scores were good enough, but I simply ran out of (wasted) time. Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly proud of the work I've put into the game over the last few weeks. I've learned a ton. I may even consider reworking parts of the game and working on the features I really want. But that's for another dev log.
Beta 4 is out, and represents my work for 1GAM's July challenge. I'll see you all next month :)
